Police: Man Killed in Domestic Dispute

Francis Koroma, 40, died after police were called for a report of a stabbing.

Fairfax County police said a 40-year-old man died Friday night and his 18-year-old son was charged with murder after officers were called to a home on Woodmere Drive in Centreville for a report of a stabbing.

Police said they were called to an apartment in the 5100 block of Woodmere Drive, off Sully Road near Eleanor C. Lawrence Park, at about 10:55 p.m. for a report of a stabbing. Officers found Francis Koroma with trauma to his upper body. Koroma was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he died at 4:15 a.m.

Police arrested Gbassay Koroma, 18, the son of Francis Koroma and charged him with murder. He was take to the county jail.
