SYA East Advances to Little League Playoffs
SYA East wins against Abingdon, moves on in the Virginia State Tournament.
In their third game this weekend, SYA East defeated Abingdon in the final day of pool play at the 2011 Virginia State Little League Tournament at Freedom Park in Leesburg.
After a rough start to the game, the SYA East All Stars got going and cruised to a 19-6 victory. With their second victory in three days, the team secured a spot in the single elimination bracket that will start tomorrow and end with the championship game on Wednesday, July 27th.
SYA East's next game will take place tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at Freedom Park in Leesburg.
