K-Writers for Kindergartners in Chantilly, VA

This half-day program offered by The Writing Academy will help your kindergartner develop a positive attitude toward writing — and get a jump start on the fundamentals that lead to good writing skills.

Instruction focuses on letter and word recognition, letter sounds, sight words, letter formation, developing penmanship and writing simple words and sentences. We also incorporate age-appropriate reading as a foundation for developing writing skills. And our teacher ensures that your child has the opportunity to learn in a playful, fun and nurturing environment. The program runs throughout the school year on the following days:

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

12:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. (with a complimentary 30-minute pick-up window)

Pricing is tiered based on how many days of the week you enroll your child (4-week minimum enrollment required, but you may enroll at any time):

1 Half-Day per Week: $30 per day x 4 days=$120/month
2 Half-Days per Week: $27.50 per day x 8 days=$220/month
3 Half-Days per Week: $26.67 per day x 12 days=$320/month
