Man Dies After Being Trapped Between SUV, Pole In Chantilly
Fairfax County detectives are investing the death of a man in Chantilly after he was pinned against a pole by his SUV.
CHANTILLY, VA — Detectives from the Crash Reconstruction Unit of the Fairfax County Police Department are investigating a fatal crash in Chantilly, according to a 1:52 a.m. post on the department's official Twitter account.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a man tried to stop his SUV from rolling down a driveway in the 13500 block of Tabscott Drive. In so doing, the man was pinned between the SUV and a pole. He was later pronounced dead on the scene.
