• FCPS starts new school year with full cellphone ban, fewer crossing guards and other changes (ffxnow.com) — Chantilly High families will see big changes this school year, including a full cellphone ban during the day and the loss of police crossing guards for students walking to and from school. Fairfax County Public Schools is also tightening rules on personal devices, adding weapons screening and clear‑bag rules at football games, and expanding virtual mental health services for students.
   

• Bluebird Care Mobility LLC DBA Bluebird Medical Transport Services (virginia.gov) — A Chantilly‑based company, Bluebird Medical Transport Services on Quigley Lane, is seeking state approval to operate passenger and non‑emergency Medicaid transportation across Northern Virginia and the entire Commonwealth.
