Santini's Now Open in Chantilly

Santini's opened without fanfare, under the radar, but after a mere three weeks, the lines are already out the door during lunch.

The New York Style Deli offers a sandwich board with choices for everyone, pizza, calzones, salads and desserts. A wall of drinks quench patrons' thirst with variety. And a long, colorful snack counter offers a crunchy side to the subs and pizzas.

Santini’s opened their doors here in the area nine years ago with the original store in Sterlin. Brothers Dan and Matt Lesando, along with their father, Bob, purchased space for their then IT business.  The bottom floor of the building was a deli. They decided to take over the deli as well and keep it open.  What started small and unassuming has become four restaurants in the Northern Virginia area.

For this family, the business is about the people.  The family-friendly, laid-back atmosphere makes you feel welcome. The staff also works together as a team.  They look out for each other and help out where needed, making the entire process from order to table seamless.

Each customer waits in line to order at the "Order Here" sign.  At that point, a staff member takes your order and you head to the register to pay.  There are no numbers, no little receipts to show.  You pay for your meal and find a seat.  Your food will find you! The staff brings your food, right to you at the table.

Everything is fresh at Santini’s.  The bread and dough are delivered daily from a local bakery in Sterling and all the meat is cut fresh the day it is to be used.  The food is made to order, hot or cold, and freshly prepared as it is ordered. Don’t be discouraged if you stop by even after the lunch rush times and see a line.  It moves quickly through the store to the counter and you will have food in hand in no time.
