On June 7th, join the DC area’s biggest pet lovers at Wine, Whiskers and Wags, a dog-friendly wine tasting event hosted by the Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter to raise funds for shelter pets in need. The event will be held from 1-5pm at Paradise Springs Winery in Clifton, and will feature delectable wines, scrumptious fare, a silent auction with dozens of desirable items, meet-and-greets with shelter pets and “Ask the Veterinarian” of the Pender Veterinary Centre, who will be offering free wellness checks. Tickets are $35 online through June 5, and $40 at the event. Ticket price includes a raffle ticket, wine tasting, and catered hors d’oeuvres by Trattoria Villagio on the winery’s historic grounds.
