Nohe Wins Republican Primary
Coles District Supervisor Marty Nohe defeated challenger Bob Pugh in Tuesday's Republican primary.

Prince William County Coles District Supervisor Marty Nohe won a decisive victory in Tuesday's Republican primary against challenger Bob Pugh. Nohe received over 73 percent of votes cast in the race despite the Coles district having very different boundaries following the .
Nohe received 1,329 votes to Pugh's 480. The State Board of Elections did not track voter turnout for magisterial districts, but county-wide, just under six percent of registered voters came out to the polls.
Nohe did well in precincts in or partially in Dale City. Results for those precincts are below:

- Saunders: Nohe 88 (82 percent), Pugh 19 (18 percent)
- Lodge: Nohe 102 (74 percent), Pugh 35 (26 percent)
- Hylton: Nohe 183 (80 percent), Pugh 45 (20 percent)
Turnout was low in those precincts as well:
- Saunders: 107 out of 3,389 registered voters (3 percent)
- Lodge: 137 out of 3,415 registered voters (4 percent)
- Hylton: 228 out of 3,815 registered voters (6 percent)
Nohe will face in the general election on Nov. 8.
