Del Ray Music Festival: Performances, Food, Road Closures

(Updated July 18) ALEXANDRIA, VA—If you like local music and food, the 10th annual Del Ray Music Festival is just for you. Hosted along Mount Vernon Avenue, the festival is scheduled for July 22 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Not only is the festival a free outdoor concert, but it gives a platform to local performers on two stages. Genres range from classic rock, to jazz, reggae and bilingual folk rock. The schedule of performances is:

Mount Vernon & Oxford Avenues

3 p.m. - Mars Rodeo

3:50 pm. - The Derds

4:50 p.m. - Elena Y Los Fulanos

5:45 p.m. - Greenland

6:40 p.m. - Handsome Hound

7:35 p.m. - Wanted Man

2200 block of Mount Vernon Avenue

3 p.m. - Boss Chiefs

3:55 p.m. - Precautionary Measures

4:40 p.m. - Jack Kilby & The Front Line

5:45 p.m. - Feel Free

6:40 p.m. - Origem

The festival also features beer gardens with local food and brews. Participating restaurants are:
