ALEXANDRIA, VA — When you're on hold with customer service, you'll likely need something to pass the time. For one Alexandria man, finding out he won the lottery made that wait more bearable.

David Maiocco didn't just win a maximum prize of $5,000 in the Pick 4 game. He won a total of $125,000 because he bought 25 tickets.

Maiocco played 25 with the same four-digit combination of 0211 in the Sept. 3 drawing.
