Alexandria Mayoral Candidates to Square Off Next Week
Citizen Associations to Co-host a Panel Discussion Between the Declared Mayoral Candidates on Thursday, April 23rd
A Mayoral Candidate Panel involving all three declared democratic candidates for the November 2015 election will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Douglas MacArthur Elementary School, 1101 Janney’s Lane. Former Mayor Kerry Donley, current Mayor Bill Euille, and current Vice-Mayor Allison Silberberg have confirmed attendance at the panel. This event is being co-hosted by the Taylor Run Citizens’ Association (TRCA) and Clover-College Park Citizens’ Association (CCPCA). This event will also be part of TRCA’s annual spring neighborhood meeting.
Candidates will make opening and closing statements, answer prepared questions, and take questions from the audience. TRCA and CCPCA hope this event will engender a productive discussion of the most pressing issues affecting Alexandrians and an opportunity to hear each candidate’s vision for the future of Alexandria.
