Deal seekers can score extra money toward their shopping adventure in the weeks leading up to the Sidewalk Sale. Visit Alexandria is hosting an Instagram giveaway on Friday, August 3 and 10 with $25 gift card prizes. Visit Alexandria will post a photo on Instagram and invite users to tag someone they want to go shopping with for a chance to win. Each comment tagging a unique person equals one entry—so the more comments and tags, the more chances you have to win. Two random winners will be drawn on each Friday.

The Old Town Boutique District is also hosting an Instagram giveaway. Participants can take a photo of your favorite sidewalk “steal” and tag #shopOTBD #LoveLocalOT for a chance to win a gift card to a store of your choice.
