"Atomic Dog" Art Exhibit at Del Ray Artisans Gallery

Del Ray Artisans and The Dog Store in Alexandria present Atomic Dog, an exhibit inspired by man’s best friend and timed to coincide with the “Dog Days of Del Ray” First Thursday in May. On the First Thursday of the month from April-September, the Del Ray Business Association presents special activities along Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray from 6-9pm.

This fun and heart warming show features photography, painting, sculpture, and inventive mixed media of all kinds by Del Ray Artisans members. Come and enjoy artistic expressions of our love for man’s and woman’s best friend—our canine companions. The exhibit runs May 4-27, with a sneak peak on First Thursday, May 3. The Dog Store is sponsoring this monthly exhibit.

Join us at the Opening Reception on Friday, May 4 from 7-9pm.

The Atomic Dog exhibit is at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are: First Thursdays (April-September) 12-9pm, Thursdays 12-6pm, Fridays 12-9pm, Saturdays 12-9pm, and Sundays 12-6pm. The gallery is free, open to the public, and handicap accessible.
