'Board and Beyond' Art Exhibit Opens Friday in Del Ray

Meet the artists at an opening reception Friday night from 7 to 9 p.m.

A new art exhibition, titled “Board and Beyond,” opens Friday with a reception with the artists, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Del Ray at Del Ray Artisans art gallery.

The month of August is traditionally dedicated to showcasing the artwork of current Board members who have served on the Board of Directors for at least two consecutive years, according to Del Ray Artisans.

This year, the Board invited three Del Ray Artisans volunteers who go “above and beyond” to join selected Board members in the August “Board” Showcase.

Artists John Hiller, Lesley Hall, Stacy Rausch, Eileen O’Brien, Pamela Underhill, Liz Martinez and Gale Goldfarb present Board and Beyond at Del Ray Artisans gallery during the month of August.

The group of artists includes Photographers, Painters, Collagists, Fiber Artists, Sculptors, and Mosaicists. Their styles, according to Del Ray Artisans, “are unique expressions of individuals committed to their pursuit of lives as artists. Many images are influenced by the natural world while others are a direct observation of the world around them.”
