Del Ray is the place to be for holiday events this weekend. Here's a guide to help you plan ahead.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Get decked out in your ugly Christmas sweaters, because Del Ray has another full lineup of holiday events this weekend.
With less than four weeks left until Christmas, there are plenty of opportunities to shop and enjoy a holiday-themed cocktail. From the annual Candy Cane Bar Crawl to the Del Ray Kinderchoir concert, there are plenty of things to get you in the holiday spirit—if you aren't already!

Mount Vernon Avenue
Well Ray is hosting free events to help you physically, mentally and nutritionally healthy the holiday season. Some of the activities include Polar Bear Yoga and the grand opening of the PopUp Parkour Playground. But if you're on the fence, all of the activities are planned around other festivities so you get a break.
Shops of Del Ray’s Ladies Night Out
6 p.m.-9 p.m.

It's almost like a regular day of holiday shopping, but with wine. Come out for a night with friends and special promotions. Plus, there will be a pop-up shop at Mount Vernon and Bellefonte Avenues featuring The Board Bus, Indigo Lion, PawsGo, Truly-Life and more.

Del Ray Artisans' Annual Holiday Market
Del Ray Artisans, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria
The market offers unique handmade products from local artists, including pottery, photography, jewelry, fiber, paper crafts and glass. Artists donate a percentage of their sales back to Del Ray Artisans to help support future exhibits and programs.
Del Ray Kinderchoir Neighborhood Concert
6:30 p.m.
Del Ray United Methodist Church, 100 E Windsor Ave
The choir, made up of kids from first to fourth grade, will celebrate the Christmas season with a night of tunes, community and candlelight. The mission of the group is to have kids learn musical skills in a noncompetitive environment.
Saturday, Dec. 9
2 p.m.-6 p.m.
Mount Vernon Avenue
The holiday-themed bar crawl returns for a second year along Mount Vernon Avenue. Anyone 21 and over can come out for an afternoon of holiday drinks, raffles and more. Each participating restaurant will have beer and cocktail specials, and there will be a free trolley to stops along the bar crawl. The first 150 people will receive a free cup. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Sales benefit Alexandria Neighborhood Health, which provides medical, dental and behavioral health care to needy families.
