Concerts on Tap at Four Mile Run Farmers & Artists Market, Lyceum

Jong Lee is set to perform Sunday, according to City of Alexandria.

    Sunday, Aug. 31, 10 a.m. - 12 Noon
    Jong Lee is this week’s artist.

  • Summer Chamber Series at the Lyceum (WMPA)
    Sunday, Aug. 31, 3 - 5 p.m.
    The Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Association presents its Summer Chamber Series at the Lyceum. Pianist Thomas Pandolfi: Music by Chopin (2 polonaises, 2 Etudes, Nocturne and Fantasy-Impromptu) and Gershwin (Improvisation on Three Gershwin Songs, Rhapsody in Blue.

    Sunday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m. - 12 Noon
    Concerts at Four Mile Run Farmers & Artisans Market featuring local artists. Matt Buchanan is this week’s artist. List of scheduled performers is subject to change without notice, visit the website for listings.

    The Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Association presents its Summer Chamber Series at the Lyceum. Today’s performance features Pianist Haskell Small. A program of Federico Mompou – Musica Callada, Books one through four.

  • Summer Chamber Series at the Lyceum (WMPA)

    The Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Association presents its Summer Chamber Series at the Lyceum. Today’s performance features Guitarist Piotr Pakhomkin. Music by Scarlatti, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Frandisco Tarrega, Albeniz, Rodrigo, and Nicolo Paganini.

Visitors to the historic district are encouraged bike, walk or take the Metrorail Yellow or Blue lines to the King Street Station and take the free King Street Trolley, or DASH or Metro buses to the festival. Parking in Old Town is available in convenient parking garages or lots.

Bicyclists may visit alexandriava.gov/localmotion for the City’s Bikeways Map, which features the City’s best on-street and off-road bikeways, as well as locations of grouped bicycle parking.
