Creative Summer Programs 2024 at Del Ray Artisans June 1 - August 31

Register now for the June events—and check back throughout the summer because more will be added in the next two months.

Programs are offered for all skill levels and experience. Learn new techniques from local artists, such as working with resin or soft pastels, creating upcycled jewelry, stone carving, mosaic making, unlocking your creative potential, and more.

Join us for our recurring, twice monthly, evening life drawing sessions, or dive into our Figure Drawing Bootcamp from July 8–12 (9am–3pm each day). Purchase a 1-day ticket or get a discount on a 5-day pass during bootcamp. Bring your supplies, and come draw from a diverse range of professional nude models. Drop in or register in advance to guarantee your spot.

Kick off Creative Summer Programs on First Thursday, June 6 with our activity from 6:30-8pm: how to make some groovy origami art with tie-dyed paper. First Thursday events are family-friendly, so bring your children and friends of all ages.

Drop in to our Del Ray Urban Sketchers meetup at St Elmo’s Coffee Pub, sketch in our gardens with the Nature Journaling Club, share your thoughts during our Creative Book Club, and join our small and supportive artists’ group Partners in Art (RSVP in advance). Swap handcrafted, artful cards with other artists for some sunshine in your mailbox.
