"Creatures from the Sea" art exhibit runs April 1 – May 1, 2016 at Del Ray Artisans

"Creatures from the Sea" art exhibit thru May 1, 2016 features everything from realistic to imaginative interpretations of sea life, ranging from magical human/aquatic hybrids to Sirens, Tritons, Naiads, and their fellow aquatic travelers from oceans, rivers, and lakes. Join Del Ray Artisans and special guests from the Alexandria Seaport Foundation at the Opening Reception on Friday, April 1, 7-9pm at the gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria.

Regular gallery hours are: Thursdays 12-6pm; First Thursday (May-September) 12-9pm; Fridays and Saturdays 12-9pm; and Sundays 12-6pm. The gallery is free, open to the public, and handicap accessible.
