DC, NoVA Weekend Events: Blossom Kite Festival, Ukraine Rally

WASHINGTON, DC — Cherry blossom peak season is in full swing this weekend, offering an ideal time to get outdoors and enjoy the spring blooms.

The Cherry Blossom Festival started earlier this week, and the cherry blossom trees at the Tidal Basin have reached peak bloom. One notable event this weekend is the Blossom Kite Festival, a free event for kite flying on the grounds of the Washington Monument.

Other notable events include Stand with Ukraine rally at Lincoln Memorial, Capital Art and Craft Festival, Architecture & Design Film Festival, DC Tattoo Expo, TEDxGeorgetown, Easter bunny photos and more.
