Join us for the 19th annual Holiday Market at Del Ray Artisans! The Market offers unique handmade crafts from local artists including wall art, botanical, pottery/ceramics, photography, jewelry, cloth, paper crafts, and fused glass. Participating artists donate a percentage of their sales back to Del Ray Artisans. This year’s Holiday Market artists are: Suzanne Amoonarquah, Jen Athanas, Barb Boatman, Kimberley Bush, Lynn Chadwick, Lorri Chambers, Wanda Jackson & Laurence Chandler, Rita Cohen, Marcel Deolazo, Holly Hague, Derek Hall, Lesley Hall, Marge Holtz, Maria Frescas Illingworth, Kim Joy, Dani Keith, Nancy Kline, Cynthia Larré, Genevieve Lynn, Rusty Lynn, Diana Manchak, Liz Martinez, Betsy Mead, Marianne Milian, Patti North, Diana Papazian, Bindu & Bharat Parikh, Madeline Ramsey, Hilary Rednor, Susan & Ken Reed, Claudia Ringel, Tangela Roe, Margarette & Neville Sinclair, Theresa Steele, Howard & Audrey Stelzer, Audrey Sykes, Ron Tickerhoff, Melinda Ray & Chris Vinh, Joyce Wagner, Dorothy Weiss, Laura Whitaker, Imani Whiters-Russell, Tamara Wilkerson, Tracy Wilkerson, and Paula Wulff.The Holiday Market is open for the first 3 weekends in December. There are completely different artists each weekend, so visit us all three weekends! The schedule is the same for each weekend: Friday night is a reception from 6 – 9pm where visitors can enjoy some delicious hot food from a local restaurant while shopping with the artists; Saturday, the Market is open from 10am – 4pm; and Sunday from 12 – 4pm. All day Saturday and Sunday shop with the artists, enjoy hot apple cider, pick up some bake sale goodies, and maybe even find a handmade ornament made by Del Ray Artisans members to purchase. Sales from the Bake Sale this year will benefit Alexandria Tutoring Consortium (alexandriatutors.org), a local non-profit working to make sure every child in Alexandria can read and succeed.The Holiday Market will be at Del Ray Artisans gallery at the Nicholas A. Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. The gallery is free, open to the public and handicap accessible.
