Del Ray Bagel Pop-Up Coming To the sushi bar

Del Ray residents can get their bagel fix at a temporary pop-up.

While Del Ray favorite Bagel Uprising searches for a new home after the closure of SnackBar, another bagel operation will have a storefront to use on weekends. Baked by Yael, which has a stand at the Del Ray Farmers Market, will be a pop-up Sundays in October at the sushi bar (2312 Mount Vernon Avenue), according to Washington Business Journal.

The pop-up will run from 8 a.m. to noon, or until the food is gone. The business, which sells bagels, cake pops, cookies and other baked goods, will have bagel sandwiches, spreads, coffee and other offerings at the pop-up. The pop-up will run before the sushi bar itself opens at 5 p.m.

Baked by Yael also has a store across from the National Zoo. It has a regular presence at the Del Ray and Old Town Farmers Markets.
