Del Ray Holiday Decorating Contest 2022 Nominees Announced

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Nominees have been announced for the 2022 Del Ray Holiday Decorating Contest, and voting is now open.

The Del Ray Citizens Association hosts the annual contest, which allows homes and businesses to submit their displays for award consideration. Awards are given by judges for Best Home Display, Best Business Display, and Best Business Window Paint Display. People's Choice Awards will be decided by a public vote for their favorite home and business.

Online voting for the People's Choice Award opened Monday and will continue until Dec. 20. Judges will visit nominated homes and businesses during that time to score entries.

Winners will be announced on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.
