Earlier, the roadway was closed from Cameron Mills Road to Fontaine Street for power lines on the ground, according to the Alexandria Police Department.As of 1:30 p.m., the street was closed, according to spokeswoman Crystal Nosal of the Alexandria Police Department.Drivers were asked to avoid the area.A <a href="http://outagemap.dom.com/DomComFlexOutageViewer/index.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Dominion Power outage map</a> did not show any outages in the area.
