Evening Star Cafe Lowcountry Boil

Executive Chef Jim Jeffords shares the fine, social tradition of a Lowcountry Boil with Del Ray on Saturday, June 16. Serving up a menu perfect for summer, some fantastic beer and wine, and featuring live musical performances from local artists; Evening Star Cafe will meld the flavor and spirit of the South with a lively outdoor neighborhood block party.

The star of the event, of course, is the boil; made the same way Chef Jim and his family has enjoyed it for years down in Georgia: fresh crawfish, corn, new potatoes, shrimp, and Andouille sausage, all thrown together in giant pots, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Evening Star will also be serving their warm cornbread, seasonal cobbler and housemade half smokes to complete the meal. To wash it all down, Terrapin Brewing Company is bringing some of their best brews from Georgia to the party, including Rye Pale Ale, Hopsecutioner, Hop Karma, Easy Rider and the limited edition Anniversary Ale.

There is no fee for admission. Food and beverage tickets will be sold individually for $1 each. Items will range from 4 to 10 tickets.
