Firefighters Put Out Apartment Balcony Fire In Alexandria

No injuries were reported when a fire broke out on an apartment balcony.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Fire department crews responded to a fire on a balcony Wednesday morning in Alexandria.

The fire was reported at a fourth floor unit in the 100 block of East Reed Avenue, according to an IAFF 2141 firefighters union tweet. The fire was quickly put out. Firefighters continued to remove smoke and check for an extension of the fire. There were no reports of injuries.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
