FireFlies Restaurant in Del Ray Under New Management
The restaurant where President Obama enjoyed a burger still has the same owners, but is "reinvigorating what they do," they said.

Del Rayās FireFlies Restaurant is under new management, according to a post on the Del Ray Business Association Web site.
The restaurant, located at 1501 Mount Vernon Ave., still has the same owners, the post notes, but is under new management, stating:
āAfter almost 13 years on the Avenue, weāve spent the last few months reinvigorating what we do. Weāve returned to our roots; which was bringing you fun, casual food in a fun, casual atmosphere.ā

The popularĀ eatery made headlines last year after President Obama stopped in for a burger with Education Secretary Arne Duncan.
The restaurant is encouraging patrons to stop and āvisit our new staff and say āHi!āā

The eatery also unveiled some new daily specials:
- Monday- Burger Night is back!
