First Night Alexandria 2021 Activities Canceled, Fireworks On
Ticketed events for First Night Alexandria are canceled, but fireworks remain scheduled with various viewing locations.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — By recommendation of the Alexandria Health Department, First Night Alexandria shows and activities will be canceled, but fireworks will still happen on New Year's Eve. Other cancellations include Waterskiing Santa on Christmas Eve and Olde Year’s Day at Torpedo Factory Art Center on New Year's Eve.
First Night Alexandria, which typically features event locations around the city, has canceled all activities except the fireworks finale at midnight. Cancellations include the Market Square Kickoff, Battle of the Buskers and the Countdown to 2022 Street Party.
"First Night Alexandria is committed to making the health and safety of our community a top priority. All shows and activities as part of the New Year’s Eve Festival of Music & More are cancelled to prevent further spread of COVID-19," First Night Alexandria shared in a statement.
