Food Handling Without Gloves: Restaurant Violations Around Del Ray
Health inspectors observed an employee cooking food without gloves at one Del Ray restaurant.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The City of Alexandria regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.
“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.
Here are some of the violations from recent inspections in and around Del Ray in late May. Among the violations was an employee cooking without gloves at Thai Peppers Restaurant. The violation was corrected during the inspection.
