French Cafe Bistro To Open In Former Bean Creative Building In Del Ray
Gustave Boulangerie, a French cafe bistro, has set a soft opening date for its opening on Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — After renovations to the space that was formerly Bean Creative, Del Ray is getting a new eatery specializing in French cuisine.
Gustave Boulangerie, a French cafe bistro, announced it will open at 10 a.m. May 30 at 2213 Mount Vernon Avenue. A menu has not been shared yet, but the restaurant's website indicates it will provide "an authentic and traditional" experience of mornings in France.
Hours at Gustave Boulangerie are expected to be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The restaurant comes from Abderrahim Moussaif, the owner of the property at 2213 Mount Vernon Avenue. The building was home to Bean Creative, a web and app developer that announced in 2019 it would close and sell the building after being open since 1997.
