Have Coffee With A Cop Wednesday In Alexandria
Join Alexandria Police for a cup o' joe during Coffee with a Cop day.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—Do you have a question that you've been wanting to ask your local police? Or maybe you haven't gotten a chance to thank them for their response to the Congressional baseball shooting or other incidents in your neighborhood. Either way, there's a chance to meet in better circumstances face-to-face.
Coffee with a Cop is a nationwide event on Wednesday, Oct. 4 to bring together law enforcement with members of the community over a cup o' joe. Alexandria Police will be on hand from 10 a.m.-noon at Swings Coffee (501 E Monroe Avenue).
Coffee with a Cop started in 2011 in Hawthorne, Calif. and expanded to all 50 states in 2016. The annual event is held the first Wednesday of October.
