"March Melee - an Art Bash" Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception of “March Melee – an Art Bash” on Friday, March 4 from 7-­9pm at Del Ray Artisans. The curators present creatively aggressive artwork in this noholds­barred show. This open call exhibit is a bold show with art of great diversity competing for your attention. Melee implies a brawl and malarkey means nonsense, so let those terms guide your expectations. Consider Roald Dahl’s words, “A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest [wo]men.”

The March Melee exhibit is at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are: Thursdays 12-6pm, Fridays 12-9pm, Saturdays 12-9pm, and Sundays 12-6pm. The gallery is free, open to the public and handicap accessible.
