A meeting of the City of Alexandria’s Ad Hoc Group on Digital and A-Frame Signs is set for Monday at Alexandria City Hall, 301 King St., Room 1101 (Sister Cities Conference Room), at 7 p.m., according to a news release from the City.

This is the Ad Hoc Group’s third and final scheduled meeting examining portable A-frame sign regulations and digital signage regulations under the City’s Zoning Ordinance to determine how to best address new technologies and to balance business vitality and information dissemination needs with other community needs.

The Ad Hoc Group was appointed by the director of the Department of Planning and Zoning. The group consists of 16 representatives from civic, business, the history community and neighborhood groups from across the City. Meetings are open to the public and members of the business community, and the community at large, are encouraged to attend, and participate in, these meetings.
