The goal is to shrink wait times on the Blue Line from 12 minutes to eight minutes. Metro officials plan to unveil the proposal before Metro’s Riders Advisory Council Wednesday night.

Metro will survey riders, hold public hearings before asking its board of directors to sign off on the proposal in the fall. Any changes that are approved would not be seen until December, a spokeswoman said.
