New Beginnings Art Exhibit at Del Ray Artisans

February 1-24, 2019

Exhibit Dates: February 1-24, 2019

Opening Reception: Friday, February 1 from 7-9pm

The EPA estimates that 75% of the American waste stream is recyclable, but we only recycle about 30% of it. People have taken to eBay and CraigsList for years to rehome their used goods in exchange for cash, and now many are utilizing give-away sites like Freecycle.org and BuyNothing too. Artists are often among the most conscientious recyclers, by reusing others’ discards to create unique art.

Stop by Del Ray Artisans gallery from February 1-24, 2019 to see the New Beginnings art exhibit featuring beautiful artwork created by reuse. These creations incorporate at least half of their materials from either found objects, recycled materials or older works of art. The opening reception is on Friday, February 1 from 7-9pm.

Four workshops are scheduled during this show – register before they fill up!
