New CAVA Opens This Week In Alexandria
Lunch is free for the first customers during the grand opening.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—CAVA is opening its latest location at Potomac Yard in Alexandria on Tuesday, Aug. 14 and will celebrate with a special offer. The first 150 customers will get a free lunch beginning at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
A preview day is happening Monday, Aug 13 with proceeds going to City Blossoms, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering healthy communities by developing kid-driven green spaces.
At Cava, diners first pick a base of salad, greens and grains or a grain bowl. Next, they chose dips and spreads, such as tzatziki, crazy feta, roasted red pepper hummus and more. Next come toppings, like falafel, spicy lamb meatballs or grilled chicken. Toppings include cabbage slaw, olives, tabbouleh and more.

This will be the 21st CAVA location in Virginia. A 22nd location is planned in Tysons on Route 7. The chain can be found from DC, Maryland and Virginia to New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Texas and California.
Business hours are 10:45 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. CAVA is located at 3525 Jefferson Davis Highway, Alexandria.
