Numerous Traffic Lights Out, Power Outages In Alexandria: Police
BREAKING: Alexandria Police report traffic lights out and power outages around Alexandria.

A transformer issue at Mount Vernon and Randolph Avenue has caused traffic lights and power to go out around Alexandria, police say.
The City of Alexandria estimates there are at least 4,700 customers without power. As of 5:30 p.m., Dominion Energy's outage map indicates over 3,000 customers lost power around Del Ray and over 1,000 in the Taylor Run area. Dispatch reports also indicate many lights are out in the West End.
Alexandria Transportation & Environmental Services and Dominion Energy have been notified.
