Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan Advisory Committee Meeting Set for April 16
The meeting will include an evaluation of existing conditions, issues, constraints and needs.

Alexandria’s Ad Hoc Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan Advisory Committee will hold its fifth meeting next week.
The meeting is slated for Thursday, April 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at William Ramsey Center, Multipurpose Room, 5650 Sanger Ave. The meeting will examine the proposed bicycle network for the west side of Alexandria, and project prioritization criteria.
The update of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan will include:

- an evaluation of existing conditions, issues, constraints and needs
- a review of existing policies, goals and objectives
Pedestrian and bicycle projects will be identified, along with future bikeshare station locations, and strategies to implement the plan. The role of the Advisory Committee is to provide guidance to City staff on the update to the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and the development of Complete Streets Design Guidelines.
