UPDATE: Police Identify Second Suspect Charged with Murder
A 17 year old was charged with murder Wednesday, police said. A 21-year old from Alexandria was charged Thursday.

UPDATE, Thursday, Jan. 14: Police Identify Second Suspect Charged with Murder
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Alexandria Police have formally charged Alvaro Enrique Saenz Castro, 21, of Alexandria, with Murder. He was booked into the William G. Truesdale Adult Detention Center Wednesday, after being extradited from another state.
The remaining suspect connected to this homicide is also in custody. She is a 16-year-old female whose specific charges in relation to this case are still pending.

Alexandria Police have charged one suspect, and have the other two suspects in custody, in connection with the homicide of Jose Luis Ferman Perez.

Perez was found deceased in Beverley Park, at the intersection of N. Overlook Drive and S. Overlook Drive, on Nov. 9, 2015.
A 17-year-old male was charged with Murder Wednesday, police said. His name is being withheld as he is a juvenile.
Two other suspects related to this homicide are in custody, according to police. More information regarding the suspects and their charges will be released when available.
“This heinous crime shocked the community and made many people worry for their safety and the safety of their children,” said Police Chief Earl Cook. “I am pleased to say that this challenging homicide investigation is drawing to a close. I credit not only our detectives for their determination and hard work but thank the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations for their assistance over the course of the investigation.”
