Made in ALX, in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, is excited to welcome kids ages 6 to 13 to our summer art camps! Your kids can paint, sculpt and craft in a positive and supportive environment with small class sizes (just 10 kids per session). These week-long, half-day camps are hosted both mornings and afternoons for children ages 6 to 9 or 10 to 13. Classes are taught by an experienced and loved Fairfax County Public Schools art teacher. The Alexandria Police Department is working an assault Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of West Glebe Road, according to an alert sent out by the department at 3:02 p.m. The suspect is in custody, according to police. Expect police activity in the area. No word from police if anyone was injured, if any weapons were used, what charges if any were brought or the identity of the suspect.
