ALEXANDRIA, VA — Warm weather is starting to stick around, and many area residents are likely eager for the pool season to begin.

For many outdoor pools around Alexandria, openings typically begin Memorial Day weekend. Hours may be limited while schools are in session.

There are numerous options for outdoor pools around Alexandria, from city-operated pools to Great Waves Waterpark and membership-based swim clubs. The city-operated pools — Warwick Pool, Old Town Pool and Memorial Pool — offer daily passes and season passes with lower rates for City of Alexandria residents.
