"Reinvention" Art Exhibit at VCA Alexandria Animal Hospital

Del Ray Artisans is partnering with the VCA Alexandria Animal Hospital (VCA Alexandria)again!

The Animal Hospital has just completed a major renovation, working with the strong bones of their original structure to reinvent the hospital to better serve their clients. Del Ray Artisans’ artists were challenged to look at the “bones” from one of their own prior pieces and reinvent it with a new message/color scheme or to reinvent themselves as an artist by working in a medium outside their comfort zone.

The exhibit is called Reinvention and is a part of Del Ray Artisans’ Gallery Without Walls (GWW) program in partnership with VCA Alexandria. GWW is way to bring art to the community by presenting exhibits at various locations throughout the city. As with our prior collaborative shows with VCA Alexandria, donations from sales of artwork will support both Del Ray Artisans and Veterans Moving Forward.

The Reinvention exhibit will display 2-dimensional artwork on the walls of the VCA Alexandria Animal Hospital, 2660 Duke Street, Alexandria, 22314 from March 4-June 10, 2018. Patrons may view the artwork at VCA Alexandria during regular business hours and at the discretion of hospital staff.
