REMINDER: Del Ray Law Practice Offers Free Estate Planning Seminar this Saturday, Nov. 7th at 10AM
The Law Office of Rachel Baer is presenting a free educational seminar about estate planning this Sat., Nov. 7 at the Mt. Vernon Rec Center
The Law Office of Rachel Baer, a boutique estate planning and elder law practice located in Del Ray, is presenting a free educational seminar about estate planning this Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 AM. Estate planning is a broad field that not only includes wills, trusts, and probate, but also addresses who you want to make your financial and medical decisions if you cannot due to illness or injury. For parents, it also covers naming a guardian for your children and setting up plans to provide for your children financially.
During the forty-five minute overview, attorney Rachel Baer will discuss what usually happens under Virginia law if someone does not have a financial power of attorney, medical power of attorney, or will. She will then give an overview of commonly used estate planning documents, when these documents might be used, and some of the topics that families or individuals should consider when making their estate plans. At the end, there will be a brief Q&A time.
The seminar will be held at the Mt. Vernon Rec. Center, 2701 Commonwealth Ave., on Saturday, November 7th, at 10:00 AM. Everyone (including kids) are welcome. Coffee from Emma’s Espresso & Wine Bar and cookies from The Happy Tart will be provided. Registration is not required to attend, but is appreciated for planning purposes. You can register at www.RBaerLaw.com.
