ICYMI: Ribbon-Cutting, Grand Opening Set for New Del Ray Business
Emma's Espresso and Wine Bar plans a day of specials and special events.

The Del Ray Business Association will hold a ribbon-cutting Saturday, April 11, at 9 a.m. to celebrate the grand opening of Emma’s Espresso and Wine Bar, owned by Connie Desrosiers and daughter Jackie Desrosiers, in Del Ray.
After the ribbon cutting, look for specials and special events planned throughout the day to celebrate Emma’s grand opening.

Located at 104 Hume Ave., at the intersection where Commonwealth and Mt. Vernon Avenue meet, the business was named for the 1925 Emma P. Hume subdivision, where the business resides. Local architect Bob Larson developed the building, which also houses several apartments.
The eatery is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., except Sundays and Mondays, when the hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You can “like” Emma’s on Facebook to keep up with the latest doings. Some of the menu items include pastries, sweet potato muffins and bacon and egg breakfast sandwiches, according to posts on the Facebook site.
