Sculpt for fun this summer!

Manipulate polymer clay or twist wire to create fun 3D pieces or jewelry at Del Ray Artisans' Grown-Ups Art Camp

Del Ray Artisans’ Grown-Ups Art Camp offers the chance to customize your own “art camp” this summer—just register for the art-filled workshops taught by local artists that fit into your schedule. Nearly 20 workshops to choose from include: techniques in painting, smart-phone photography, polymer clay, mixed media, book-making, journaling, drawing, jewelry-making, leather-working, paper and fiber art, sculpture, and more.

“Introduction to Polymer Clay” workshop
Saturday, June 30, 12-4pm (Register by June 23)
Learn the basics of polymer clay: conditioning, rolling, color blending, assembly, surface treatments, firing, and finishing; and create a small sculpture or jewelry project to take away. DelRayArtisans.org/event/polymer-clay-intro/

“Wire Wrapped Gemstone and Crystal Rings” workshop
Friday, July 6, 1-3pm (Register by June 29)
Learn to use wire cutters, chain nose, and round nose pliers in combination with wire and semi-precious loose stones to make a one of a kind wire wrapped ring. DelRayArtisans.org/event/wire-wrapped-rings/

“Create Decorated Metal Filigree Focal Pieces with Polymer Inlay” workshop
Friday, July 13, 11am-3pm (Register by July 6)
