Shakespeare in the Pub describes themselves as “just a bunch of actors reading classical plays out loud in a bar. You might ask why. First off, it’s a lot of fun. We get to blow off some steam, try crazy stuff with well-known, dogeared plays, and push the limits of our craft in an atmosphere that’s completely forgiving, but still a technical challenge.”

The lounge is located upstairs at 2000 Mount Vernon Ave., offering a retreat for those looking to kick back and relax with a drink from the full-service bar.
