Slaters Market Aiming for December Opening

A new market located just off Slaters Lane carrying fresh produce, dairy products and other sundry items is expected to open in December.

Called Slaters Market, ownership hopes to get the doors open at 1561 Potomac Greens Ave. between Buzz Bakery and Tropical Smoothie Cafe in a little more than a month, according to the market’s Facebook page.

Along with produce and dairy products, the 800-square-foot Slaters Market will carry beverages, bread, flowers and other household items.

Nearby residents are urged to leave suggestions on items that the store will carry on its Facebook page.
