The site of the Del Ray Farmers’ Market is expected to be named “The Pat Miller Neighborhood Square,” once the request is officially approved by the City of Alexandria.
Miller, the Del Ray Business Association’s secretary, was surprised by the announcement at the 20th Annual Art on the Avenue, according to a DRBA release.
The site is at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Oxford Street.

Miller also manages the Del Ray Farmers’ Market and sits on numerous Boards and committees throughout the City, including Art on the Avenue, according to the DRBA.
“Pat is one of the hardest-working, most dedicated champions of Del Ray. It was a no-brainer,” said DRBA President Bill Blackburn regarding DRBA’s endorsement.
