Armed Robber Steals Phones From Verizon Store

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Alexandria Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Verizon store Tuesday morning.

Police say an armed suspect stole numerous phones from the store in the 2900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. No one was injured.

Police sent out an incident advisory shortly before 10 a.m. but did not indicate an arrest has been made.

A suspect description was not immediately available. Expect police activity in the area.
