17 Restaurants Confirmed For Taste Of Del Ray

(Updated 5:25 p.m. Thursday) ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Are you ready to eat your way through Del Ray all in one day? The ninth annual Taste of Del Ray is coming up in a few weeks, and tickets are now available.

The event is Sunday, June 4 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pat Miller Neighborhood Square and the parking lot behind United Bank (Mount Vernon and Oxford Avenues).Tickets are $10 online ($5 for children under 12) plus fees and $15 the day of the event.

Tickets come with unlimited tastings. Attendees can sample offerings new restaurants while enjoying Del Ray favorites. The event will also give out a Judges Choice and People's Choice awards, the second of which attendees can vote in at the event. The judges are Chef Craig Scheuerman, Director of the Culinary Arts program at T.C. Williams High School and Jenny Sullivan, Editor at Arlington Magazine.

As of Thursday, 17 restaurants are participating in the event, event organizer Maureen Schweers wrote in an email to Patch.

The Taste of Del Ray is sponsored by the Del Ray Business Association. Purchase tickets here and check in at the will-call booth the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at The Neighborhood Pharmacy of Del Ray (2204 Mt Vernon Ave) and The Greener Cleaner of Del Ray (2210 Mt Vernon Ave).
