Arlington Malicious Wounding Victim Found In Alexandria
Police believe the victim fled to Alexandria after being attacked. The incident is separate from the officer-involved shooting.

The victim of a malicious wounding in Arlington was found in Alexandria Sunday night.
Alexandria Police had located the wounded male victim at Mount Vernon and Executive Avenues. Further investigation revealed the victim had fled after being attacked in Arlington.
Arlington County Police believe the victim was injured with a sharp object at South Arlington Ridge Road at South Glebe Road. Police initially believed the victim had been shot, but medics determined the victim had an apparent stabbing wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Alexandria Police do not believe the incident is connected to the officer-involved shooting that injured a suspect in Old Town North Sunday afternoon.
